Wedding restroom rental is mostly a logistics job dressed up as an equipment job. The equipment itself is straightforward: a multi-room restroom trailer for most guest lists, VIP single units for smaller ones or for a bridal party, and standard units back of house for vendors and catering crew. What takes the work is everything around it. Where the trailer can physically sit at a ranch venue in Ojai or Somis, whether the power at that spot will actually carry it, how far the nearest hose bib is, what the venue will allow in the sight lines, and when the delivery window is on a day where the caterer, the florist and the rental company all want the same driveway. We handle weddings across the county from Ojai and Ventura down to Camarillo, Thousand Oaks and the Oxnard ranch venues, and on any property we have not worked before we look at it in person first.

On a wedding there is no second chance at the delivery. That drives everything we do differently here: the site visit beforehand, the early delivery window, the spare cord and hose on the truck, and the habit of confirming the power source with the venue rather than with the couple. We also tell people when they are over-ordering. Plenty of quotes we give are smaller than the one the customer expected, because two VIP units and a couple of standard units back of house often beats a six-room trailer for a 90-guest wedding on a site where a trailer would be a nightmare to place. We work with planners and venues across the county regularly enough that a lot of our bookings come with a placement plan already agreed, which is the single best predictor of a smooth day.

Reasons Weddings Need Restroom Rentals
Almost every wedding that calls us falls into one of these:
The venue is private land with no facilities
Family ranches, orchards, vineyards and private estates are some of the best wedding settings in Ventura County and most of them have one bathroom in a house half a field away. Restrooms have to be brought in, and that is a completely normal part of a private-property wedding budget.
The venue has fixtures but not enough of them
One or two bathrooms serving 150 guests produces a line that lasts all evening. Venues often quote a capacity based on the space rather than the plumbing, and the restroom count is the thing that gets checked last.
The guest list changed after the venue was booked
Guest counts move, and they mostly move up. Adding restroom capacity is one of the easiest parts of a wedding to scale late, provided the date is not a peak Saturday in September.
The wedding runs into the evening
Outdoor venues get dark and the ground is uneven. Lit, level restrooms with a proper path to them is a safety item as much as a comfort one once the reception is underway.
There are elderly guests or guests with mobility needs
Steps, gravel and a long walk rule out a lot of arrangements that look fine on paper. An ADA accessible unit or a trailer with a ramped entry placed close to the reception solves it, and it should be planned rather than improvised on the day.
The caterer and the crew need their own facilities
Catering, band, photographers and setup crew are on site for hours before and after the guests. Standard units back of house keep them out of the guest restrooms, and health rules mean the catering crew needs handwashing regardless.

How A Wedding Booking Works
The booking is made months out; the site work is what makes the day go quietly.
1. Venue walk and plan
We look at the placement options, the approach width, the ground level, the power and the water, and agree with the venue or the planner where the units go. On venues we already service, that plan usually exists and we work to it.
2. Delivery, setup and screening
Units arrive in the morning, get leveled, connected, lit and stocked with paper, towels, soap and vanity supplies. Anything visible from the ceremony gets screened, and the approach path gets checked for anybody walking it in heels after dark.
3. Attendant and next-day collection
An attendant keeps the units clean and stocked through the reception where one is booked. Collection is the next morning or whenever the venue allows, done quietly, with the site left the way we found it.

How many restrooms for a wedding
A reasonable planning figure is one restroom per 50 guests for a four-hour event, and one per 35 once alcohol is being served for five hours or more. A 150-guest evening wedding is comfortable on a four-room trailer; 250 guests wants six rooms or a trailer plus VIP units.
Restroom trailers for weddings
Multi-room suites with flushing china fixtures, running hot water, climate control, mirrors and finished interiors. They need a level pad roughly the size of a large parking space, a 20-amp circuit and a hose bib, and they are what most weddings over about fifty guests end up on.
VIP units for the wedding party
A single luxury unit placed near the getting-ready room, separate from the guest restrooms, is a small line item that gets mentioned in the thank-you note. It is also the answer on venues where a trailer cannot physically get in.
Back-of-house units for vendors
Standard portable toilets and a sink near the catering tent, out of sight of guests. It keeps the guest restrooms clean and it keeps the caterer compliant, since food handlers need handwashing available.
Power, water and generators
Trailers need power and water. A surprising number of Ventura County wedding venues have neither within reach of the good placement spot. We bring a quiet generator and a fresh-water tank when that is the case, which is a normal part of a ranch wedding rather than an exception.
Placement, screening and sight lines
The best placement is close enough to walk to in the dark, far enough not to be in a photograph, and on ground firm enough for heels. Where the venue has hedging, structures or a slope to hide behind we use it; where it does not, we bring screening.
Timing and delivery windows
On a wedding day the driveway is contested. We deliver early, usually first thing, and coordinate with the planner rather than turning up on our own schedule. Collection is next morning unless the venue needs the site cleared that night.
What Wedding Restroom Rental Costs
A two-room trailer for a wedding day runs roughly $900 to $1,400 delivered and set; four-room suites are typically $1,500 to $2,400. VIP single units are $350 to $700 each. What moves the number:
- Guest count and room count, which is the main driver. Rooms are the unit of pricing on a trailer, not guests.
- Whether the venue has power and water. A generator and a water tank add cost, and on ranch sites they are frequently needed.
- Attendant hours. Recommended over about 150 guests, priced hourly, and the biggest optional item on most quotes.
- Access and setup. A gravel pad down a narrow oak-lined lane takes longer to reach and level than a paved lot next to the barn.
- The date. Saturdays from May through October are the peak in Ventura County, and holiday weekends book out first and price highest.
- Back-of-house units and sinks for vendors, which are inexpensive and are the part people forget to budget.
Every wedding quote is flat and includes delivery, setup, stock, servicing and collection, so nothing lands on the invoice afterward. Several Ventura County ranch and canyon venues have a narrow approach that rules a trailer out, which is exactly why we walk the site before we promise one.
What if my venue has no power or water?
That is common on private land and it is not a problem. We bring a quiet generator sited away from the guests and a fresh-water tank, and the trailer runs normally. It is worth knowing at quote stage, because it changes the price and the setup time.
How far in advance should I book wedding restrooms?
Two to three months for a Saturday between May and October, and earlier for a holiday weekend. Off-season and weekday dates are usually available with a few weeks’ notice. If your date is close, call anyway, because cancellations happen and VIP units are easier to place late than trailers.
Do you provide restrooms for the caterer and vendors?
Yes, and we recommend it. Standard units and a hand washing station placed back of house keep the vendor crew out of the guest restrooms, and food handlers are required to have handwashing available regardless. They go on the same delivery and cost very little.
Will the units be visible in our photographs?
Not if the placement is planned. We site units behind planting, fencing or a structure wherever the venue has one, and bring screening where it does not. Tell us which direction the ceremony faces and where the photographer will be working, and we will plan around it.
Do you offer accessible restrooms for older guests?
Yes. Trailers can be supplied with a ramped entry, and we also rent standalone ADA units with grab bars and a wheelchair-accessible interior. Either should be placed on firm level ground close to the reception rather than at the far end of a gravel path.
