Portable Restroom Ventura

Portable Restroom Ventura is a family-run portable sanitation company working out of a yard on North Olive Street in Ventura. We rent and service portable toilets, restroom trailers, accessible units and portable sinks across Ventura County, and we have been running the same weekly service routes since 2011.

How Long We Have Been Doing This

We started running units in 2011 with one truck and a handful of construction customers, and the routes have grown outward from Ventura ever since. In that time the work has changed in ways that surprised us. Weddings and private events on ranch property are now a serious share of the calendar, film and television location work has become a steady line, and accessible units have gone from an occasional request to a standard part of most public bookings. What has not changed is that the whole business turns on whether the service truck shows up when it said it would.

The Story Behind The Company

The company exists because of a job site in Oxnard where the units were serviced every other week on a weekly contract, and nobody could get the vendor on the phone about it. That is not an unusual story in this industry, and it is the reason we built the business around fixed routes and our own drivers rather than around the cheapest possible quote. The equipment is more or less the same everywhere. The service schedule is the product.

The Crew

Our drivers are employees rather than subcontractors, they run the same routes week after week, and they know which Ojai driveway needs the small truck and which Oxnard field road turns to soup in February. Everybody who answers the phone has been on a truck, which is why you get a straight answer about whether a trailer will fit down your lane instead of a promise that it will. Trained on the equipment, food-handler certified for event work, and the same faces year after year.

The Equipment We Run

We own and maintain our fleet rather than brokering somebody else’s, which is why we can tell you on Tuesday what will be on your site on Thursday. That covers standard and deluxe portable toilets, job site units on monthly rates, wheelchair-accessible ADA restrooms, VIP luxury units, two to ten room restroom trailers with hot water and climate control, wedding restroom setups and fresh-water hand washing stations. Keeping all of it on one yard is what lets us change a booking on two days’ notice when a guest count moves or a crew doubles.

Why We Like The Work

It is a job where doing the boring part properly is genuinely noticed. Nobody thanks you for a clean restroom, but everybody remembers a bad one, and there is something satisfying about running a route where none of your customers ever has to think about you. We also get to work across the whole county in a week, from a strawberry field on the Oxnard Plain to a wedding under the oaks in Ojai, which is a better way to spend a Tuesday than most.
