The venue is beautiful and the restrooms would ruin the photographs
Ranch, vineyard and estate venues across the Ojai and Santa Rosa valleys are chosen for how they look. How A Luxury Rental Comes Together
Upscale events run on preparation, so most of the work happens before the delivery date.
1. Site walk and specification
We look at the guest count, the venue, the hours and where the unit can physically go. That visit settles power, water, ground level and approach width, which are the four things that decide whether a luxury rental goes smoothly.
2. Delivery and setup ahead of time
Units are delivered and set well before guests arrive, leveled, connected, lit, stocked with paper, towels, soap and a vanity kit, and checked. If a planner wants them screened, we place them behind whatever the venue has or bring our own screening.
3. Attendant service and collection
On longer events an attendant stays through the evening to keep the units stocked and clean. Collection happens the next morning or on the schedule the venue allows, quietly, with the site left as we found it.
VIP Units, Executive Suites And What Goes In Them
The category covers several different things, and the names get used loosely:
VIP portable restroom
A single self-contained luxury unit with a flushing toilet, an interior sink with running water, lighting, a mirror and a vanity shelf. It needs no water hookup and runs on a standard outlet or its own battery. This is the unit for small guest counts, tight sites and anywhere a trailer will not fit.
Executive restroom trailer
A towable suite with two or more private rooms, climate control, china fixtures, hot water, mirrors, vanities and finished flooring. Needs a level pad, a power drop and a hose bib. This is what most weddings over about fifty guests end up on.
Climate control and heating
Air conditioning in the summer and heating for the January and February events in the Ojai and Simi valleys, where an unheated unit is genuinely unpleasant after dark. Both run off the same power drop as the lighting.
Interior finish and fixtures
Porcelain toilets, real hand basins, framed mirrors, vanity counters, solid flooring and interior lighting. On the executive suites there is usually a full-length mirror, a shelf for a bag and somewhere to set a drink down, which sounds trivial and is the thing guests actually notice.
Attendant service
A uniformed attendant who restocks paper and towels, wipes down between uses and keeps an eye on supplies through the event. Standard on high-end weddings over about 150 guests, and worth it on any event running more than five hours.
Power, water and generators
A VIP single can run off a standard 20-amp circuit. An executive suite wants its own circuit and a hose bib within reach. Where a venue has neither, which is common on ranch pads and open fields, we bring a quiet generator and a water tank rather than running two hundred feet of cord from a barn.
What Luxury Portable Restrooms Cost
A VIP single unit runs roughly $350 to $700 for an event day. Executive suites start around $900 for a two-room trailer and climb from there with the room count and the hours. What moves the number:
- Unit type. A VIP single, a two-room suite and a six-room executive trailer are three quite different pieces of equipment with three different delivery requirements.
- Event duration. A four-hour reception and an all-day corporate function need different servicing and different stock, and multi-day events are priced per day at a lower rate.
- Whether an attendant is included. An attendant is a per-hour cost and is the single biggest optional line on most luxury quotes.
- Power and water at the venue. A site with a usable outlet and a hose bib costs less to service than one needing a generator and a water tank.
- Access and setup difficulty. A gravel ranch pad at the end of a narrow oak-lined driveway takes longer to reach and to level than a paved parking area.
- Season and date. Saturdays from May through October, and any holiday weekend, are the busiest dates in the county and the ones that book out first.
Quotes are flat and include delivery, setup, stock and collection. Can you deliver a luxury unit to a venue with a narrow driveway?
A VIP single, almost always. An executive trailer, not always, which is why we walk the approach first on any property we have not delivered to. The oak-lined lanes in Ojai and the ranch driveways around Moorpark are the two places where this comes up most, and finding out on the wedding morning is not the plan.
How far in advance should I book?
For a Saturday between May and October, two to three months. Holiday weekends go earlier than that. Weekday and off-season events are usually available with a few weeks’ notice, and we will always tell you honestly what is left rather than taking a booking we cannot cover.
Do you provide an attendant?
Yes, by the hour. An attendant restocks paper and towels, wipes down between uses and keeps supplies topped up through the event. We recommend one for weddings over about 150 guests and for anything running more than five hours.
