Standard Portable Restrooms Done Right

The single-occupant standard restroom is what most Ventura County crews are after — quick to drop on a framing job in midtown Ventura, easy to service on an ag pad outside Santa Paula, simple to scale up when a strawberry harvest crew jumps from twelve to forty workers overnight. We run them on a weekly route, swap them out when wind or work knocks them around, and bill flat — what we quote on the phone is what shows up on the invoice.

How We Work

Drop the restroom, run the route, pull it out clean. Same driver each visit.

1. We bring it on a flatbed

A driver lays the restroom exactly where you want it. We routinely set on uneven pads in Oxnard fields, behind a Ventura framer’s stem wall, or on a packed-dirt event lot in Ojai. Tell us where and we will place it there.

2. A scheduled weekly service

Your route day is fixed before the restroom arrives. The same driver pumps out, hoses down, restocks paper, and refills sanitizer — and reports back if something on the site needs attention.

3. We pull and clean the spot

When the job is done, the restroom comes out the same week. We sweep the pad and roll the truck. No “we will be by next month” — pickup is on the calendar.

When You Need A Portable Restroom

A jobsite-grade standard restroom is the right call when:

  • You are running a framing or ag crew of 5 or more — Cal/OSHA wants accessible sanitation on site. One restroom per 10 workers is the working ratio we spec around.
  • Crews are working a stretch of 101 or Pacific Coast Highway — paving, signal, and pipe crews on long linear runs where the nearest indoor restroom is twenty minutes round trip.
  • Coastal remodel or seawall work — Pierpont, Ventura Keys, and harbor-adjacent builds where homeowners do not want the crew tracking sand and water through the house.
  • A demo, fire-rebuild, or post-storm project — short windows where indoor plumbing has already been pulled or the structure is gone.
  • An ADU or backyard pool build — Ojai foothills and Camarillo lots where the trades need somewhere to go that is not the family bathroom.
  • Events — weddings, festivals, races, concerts, food fairs, and outdoor gatherings where guests need clean restrooms close to the action without a row of beat-up porta-potties stealing the photos.

What Affects the Cost of Portable Restrooms

Standard restroom pricing is a flat monthly rate plus the weekly service. The exact figure moves on:

  • How many you need. Cal/OSHA expects 1 restroom per 10 workers as a floor; busy crews benefit from a tighter ratio.
  • How often we service. Once-a-week is the baseline; we will bump to twice-weekly on heavy-traffic sites (think open-house weekends or hot ag weeks).
  • How long it stays. Multi-month framing jobs get the best daily rate; one-weekend short rentals carry a flat short-term price.
  • Where it goes. Anywhere in the Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, Ojai, and Hueneme service belt is included; deliveries past Fillmore or up the Conejo grade get a small delivery line.
  • Restroom style. Standard is the workhorse. ADA-accessible (larger footprint, grab bars, ramp) is a small premium. Trailers and hand-wash are their own product lines.
  • Removal. Always in the quote. We are not the vendor who tacks on a haul-out fee at the end.

Tell us crew size, length of job, and the city — we will quote a flat number on the same call.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often will a restroom get serviced?

Once a week is the baseline, included in the monthly rate. The same driver pumps it out, hoses the interior, restocks paper, and refills hand sanitizer. High-traffic sites — peak harvest, public events, busy framing — can step up to twice-weekly for a small line on the bill.

How quickly can you drop one in Ventura County?

Most Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, and Thousand Oaks drops land within one to two business days. If a restroom is already on a truck rolling your direction, same-day is possible. Call and we will check the route board.

Is there a contract or minimum?

No. Everything is month-to-month. A typical framing job runs two to six months, an ag site runs a season, a wedding runs a weekend — pick whatever matches the job.

What if the restroom gets knocked over or damaged?

Call us and we will come fix it or swap it. Normal wear and Santa Ana wind tip-overs are on us; vandalism or repeat damage we will work out with you.

Are these ADA-compliant?

The standard restroom is not — it is too narrow. We rent a separate ADA restroom (wider, grab bars, ramp) and we will spec the right mix on the quote so you stay compliant when you have public access.
